It is locally known as the Bairro de Pescadores in city of Aveiro. Fisherman's Wharf is at the seaside of the city. Aveiro is traversed by canals, which give it somewhat a special feature, and in the old area you can spot the old-fashioned whitewashed houses of the fishermen.
