Located on the campus of McGill University, the Redpath Museum is a museum of natural history which was built in 1882. The museum showcases aquatic creatures ranging from ancient plesiosaurs and ichthyosaurs to modern seals and sea turtles. It also has a small collection of well-known Burgess Shale fossils. Redpath Museum also hosts temporary exhibitions which can be found at the entrance to the hall.
