Museo de la Basilica de Guadalupe or the Museum of the Basilica of Guadalupe is situated behind the Old Basilica. This museum was opened on October 12, 1941 by the Abbot of Guadalupe Feliciano XX Cortez and Mora. It consists of different collections of more than 1500 pieces like sculpture, paintings, textiles, prints, furniture and metalwork made in the fifteenth and twentieth century.
