The Museo Nacional de San Carlos is an art museum which houses 16th to 19th century European paintings. The museum is housed in a neoclassical building known as Palacio del Conde de Buenavista. It contains works by Parmigianino, Lucas Cranach the Elder, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, Anthony Van Dyck, Auguste Rodin, Frans Hals and much more. The museum also hosts workshops, seminars as well as extraordinary weekend classes for children.
