Named after the founder, J.D Forney, the museum is known for holding Denver’s best kept secrets for years, maintaining a collection of over 500 exhibits relating to historical transportation. Initially, it focused on antique automobiles but the focus soon expanded to other modes of transport, vehicles of all kind. It holds the world’s largest steam locomotive and collection of bicycles in the world.
