Description:

Being the oldest and largest state park in Las Vegas, life of people in the history and also some ancient trees are depicted in the park throughout. Likewise, 3,000 years old Indian petroglyphs are also featured in the Valley of Fire State Park. Dedicated in 1935, the park is now famous for camping, hiking, photography and picnicking. Located around 55 miles northeast of Las Vegas, various species of birds as well as plants can be explored in the park.
