One of the top science museums in the country, California Science Center features hands-on interactive science exhibits, the Air and Space Gallery, and an IMAX movie theater that appeal to both children and adults. Permanent exhibits of the museum focus on living things, human inventions and innovations, while temporary exhibits are devoted to all sort of scientific subjects. It is probably the best museum destination in Southern California, and has received more than 18 million visitors since its opening in 1998.
