Located in downtown Miami in Miami Cultural Center, the museum was founded in 1984 as Center for the Fine Arts. Collections of the museum focus on international arts from western hemisphere which date back from 1940s to the present day. Along with featuring variety of permanent collections, there are some good traveling exhibits showcased by the museum. With primary motive of advancing public knowledge for art, the museum also enhances cultural experience of residents as well as tourists.
