Sara D. Roosevelt Park got its name from Sara Roosevelt who was the mother of President Franklin Delano. This 7.85-acre park features the Golden Age Center for senior citizens, various playing surfaces, roller skating rink, a basketball court and a soccer field. The most important feature of the park is a handball court. As handball is one of the most important Asian sports, a lot of teenagers can be seen playing in this court.
