The San Diego Chinese Historical Museum is a non-profit organization whose sole mission is to collect, preserve and share the Chinese American experience and Chinese history, culture and art. This fascinating museum celebrates the Chinese community history through displays, featuring historical photographs, calligraphy, costumes, artifacts, furniture and art. It also displays exhibits focusing on different aspects of Chinese culture such as seal carvings. The museum's permanent collection includes artifacts from both sides of the Pacific. Special events also celebrate holidays like the Chinese New Year, Veterans Day and the Moon Festival.
