The Museum of the African Diaspora is a San Francisco based nonprofit organization which traces the history of the African slave trade, African people's liberation movements and art of people of African descent within the United States and throughout the world. Its mission has been to celebrate and explore the culture and history of the African Diaspora. It is one of the only museums in the world focused exclusively on African Diaspora culture.
