Statue of Lenin peers out over the street below, oblivious to the continuing controversy over its display. It was salvaged and brought over from Slovakia, and went up in 1995 at N. 36th St. and Evanston Ave. It is a 16 foot bronze statue of Bolshevik Russian Communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin.
