Located downtown not far from the ferry terminal, Museu Naval chronicles the history of the Brazilian navy from the 16th century to the present. The museum also exhibits model warships, maps and navigational instruments. Installed in a building constructed in 1868, this museum preserves articles from the seafaring history of the city.
