Also known as Aterro do Flamengo, the park features around 170,000 trees of 300 different species. In addition there are three museums in the park. Cyclists and rollerbladers glide along the myriad paths, while the many football fields and sports courts are framed against the sea. Parque do Flamengo is the largest public park and recreation area within the city in eastern Brazil.
