Established in the 1950s on the remains of rubber plantations, Petaling Jaya is now a busy commercial and residential hub with more than 500,000 inhabitants, with each of the country’s three main ethnicities – Malay, Chinese and Indian. Unlike other major cities, there are not lots of things to do in here, except for the occasional oddities here and there.
