Dedicated to the Overseer of Foreign Troops, Harkhuf, the tomb of Harkhuf is popular for Harkhuf’s biographical text. He lived in the era of Merenre and his son Pepi II, kings of the 6th dynasty. Other notable feature to see in this tomb is the letter sent by his son Pepi II in which he instructed his father to take care of a dancing dwarf whom he brought from the foreign lands so that to arrive to him safely.
