Being a medieval architecture, Bab Zuweila is one of the only remaining architectures in the city which come from medieval times. It serves as a southern gate from the walls of Fatimid Cairo and constructed in 1092, it underwent numerous renovations and reconstruction. Despite, it stands holding the pride of being centuries old where visitors can climb the gate and explore some of the interesting facts about the gates construction and architecture.
