Founded in 1882, Gezira Sporting club is regarded as the largest multi-sport facility in Egypt. Located on the island of Gezira, it covers a total area of 150 acres serving abundant space for various sports. A Golf course, tennis court and a swimming pool are the primary facilities provided by the club. Moreover, numerous sports like hockey, football, boxing, water polo, tennis, handball, etc. are played in the club, where it provides great facilities for each of the sports.
