Being one of the oldest streets in Cairo, Muizz Street is recognized for housing the magnificent ancient architectures which are as old as the city of Cairo. Approximately one kilometer long, it has the Bab Al-Futuh to its northern end while Bab Zuweila at the southern end, where both of them serve as magnificent gates to the street. Being a restricted area some years back, later it opened as a cultural and learning hub.
