The grand Anwar Mosque is located in Markato which is the largest open-air market constructed in 1922. Anwar Mosque is one of the oldest and biggest mosques in Addis Ababa.  The mosque is beautifully constructed with white and green colors. The architecture of this mosque represents the typical Islamic style.
