City: Marrakech
Description:

Located near the Jewish quarter, the El Bahia Palace was built in the 19th century. The name Bahia means “brilliance”. The palace has some fine examples of Moroccan design and architecture – tiled panels, painted cedar ceilings, marble floors and beautiful carved archways. The palace has been well-maintained by the Moroccan government. You may want to hire a guide who will give you fascinating snippets of information about the palace.
