Located in central Cape Town, Bo-Kaap is well-known for its brightly colored houses. This area has a fascinating history. Many of the people residing here are descendants of slaves from Indonesia, Malaysia and other African countries. There is a museum in this area, known as Bo-Kaap Museum which helps visitors to discover the history of Bo-Kaap. This museum is the oldest house in the area and still it’s in original form.
