Located in the Xuanwu District, Museum of Ancient Pottery Civilization is one of the significant theme museums in China, focusing on the art of pottery. Opened in 1997, the museum is one of the oldest privately owned museums in China. It puts forth the historical facts about ancient pottery civilizations, where pottery was a significant art of human at that time. Exhibits of the museums are divided into 4 parts, painted pottery, ancient pottery, ends of eaves tiles and sealed clay works. Each of the parts portrays magnificent pottery art and attracts thousands of national and international visitors.
