Located on Changyang Road in the Hongkou District, the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum was built to commemorate the lives of those 30,000 Jewish refugees who settled in Shanghai before and during the World War II and sought sanctuary after the massacre. The museum consists of three parts: the former site of Ohel Moshe Synagogue and two exhibition halls. The decorations and furnishings in the building create a serene and auspicious atmosphere.
