City: Kuala Lumpur

Housed in a former Majestic Hotel building, the National Art Gallery features endless contemporary works coming from Malaysian artists. Moreover, lots of photographic works and artifacts from other Asian artists are also beautifully featured in the gallery. Located in a beautiful setting next to the Lake Titiwangsa, the gallery was established by Tunku Abdul Rahman, first Prime Minister of Malaysia. National Art Gallery being its former name, it has changed to National Visual Arts Gallery since 2011.
