The oldest surviving fire station of Singapore, Central Fire Station is based at Hill Street in the Museum Planning Area. Also nicknamed as 'Blood and Bandage' due to its red and white color, the station houses the Civil Defense Heritage Gallery featuring Singapore's firefighting service history. You can explore the building to learn about how the fire station works through various equipments and audio-visual presentations.
