Once an important Buddhist temple with a rich history, founded in 794 during the Joseon Dynasty, Bongeun Temple is now one of the biggest, richest and most visited temples in Seoul. The temple has impressive array of Buddhist buildings and sculptures, providing a nice and quiet resting place to tourists and locals.
