City: Seoul
Description:

Located in downtown Seoul across the street from City Hall, this mid-fifteenth century built Deoksu-gung Palace is one of the five palaces from the Jeseon Dynasty which lasted over 500 years, and is quite different from the other major palaces in Seoul. This magnificent palace is a fusion of Eastern and Western styles, and the architecture of the buildings inside is heavily influenced with Western designs. It features delightful gardens that contain stunning architectural styles best seen in the tea pavilion. The grounds themselves are gorgeous and include the oldest bridge in Seoul, the Secret Garden, ponds, and hundreds of flora and fauna.
