Established in 1988, the Seoul Museum of Art is an ultra-modern art museum operated by Seoul City Council, located on the former site of Gyeonghuigung Palace, preserving the facade of the old Supreme Court Office building. The gallery hosts top-notch exhibitions that are worth a visit. The Seoul Museum of Art has a great collection of approximately 3,500 pieces of art including sculptures, paintings, installation and media, including works of the renowned masters such as Hwan Gi Kim, Young Gook Yoo, Nam June Paik, Woo Hwan Lee, Seo Bo Park, and Myoung Ro Yoon.
