Yeouido Park, with 230,000 square meters of area and a lot to offer, is one of the most popular parks in Seoul, which is conveniently located in the center of the city. The park was once covered with black asphalt, and people frequented this place for bicycling and roller-skating. This giant field was initially built for military aviation purposes in emergencies. Today, the park contains four main areas - a traditional Korean forest, a grassy field, a cultural event plaza and an ecological forest where people can see different aquatic plants and insects.
