Bangkok Dolls Museum was established by Khunying Thongkorn Chanthawimol in 1957. Khunying Thongkorn Chanthawimol was a renowned doll maker who trained in Tokyo. Upon her return to Thailand, she began researching and making dolls. The museum features her collection which consists of over 400 Thai handmade dolls. Bangkok Dolls Museum has received many prizes for its creation.
