Located at Khao Din Park, Dusit Zoo is the oldest zoo in Thailand. King Rama V built it as his private garden adjacent to the royal palace. It features more than 1600 species of domestic as well as international animals including 170 reptiles, 842 birds and 331 mammals. Animals which can be seen here include monkeys, kangaroos, elephants, giraffes, penguins, alligators and much more.
