Located in Dusit district, Royal Elephant National Museum is one of Bangkok’s smallest and least known museums. Also known as Chang Ton National Museum, it is dedicated to Thailand’s royal elephants.  The museum provides fascinating background details to the significance of white elephants in Thailand. The collections include preserved elephant skin and hair, tusks and the pieces of armor donned by elephants during battles.
