Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi or Sakip Sabanci Museum, based on the shore of Bosphorus is housed in a fabulous 19th century villa called as Atlı Köşk or Horse Mansion. The museum is home to paintings by popular artists like Picasso and Rodin and works by Turkish and foreign artists settled in Turkey between 1850 and 1950. Other highlights include the Ottoman Calligraphy, rare copies of manuscripts from the Holy Qu'ran as well as archaeological and stone pieces dating from Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman era.
