Description:

Opened in 1857, Adelaide Botanic Gardens are situated to north-east of the city, in an area of 51 hectares. Numerous Australian native plants, ornamental plants and some international species could be spotted in the park. Apart from lush green plants and lawns, the garden also contains a restored Victorian house which is worth seeing and moreover, South Australian Water Mediterranean Garden, Bicentennial Conservatory and Museum of Economic Botany are other points of interest in the garden.
