Established in 1963, the railway museums houses large railway collection in Australia. Depicting history of Australian Railway with numerous railway artifacts, it operates number of historical locomotives. Visitors get to see various steam as well as diesel trains on work in the museum and moreover, a 1870s heritage listed goods shade is also featured by the museum. The museum houses over 100 exhibits in merely two pavilions and there are interactive displays depicting safe operating practices of the railway engines.
