Founded in 1927, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the oldest Koala sanctuary in the world. It's one of the few sanctuaries in the world, where visitors are allowed to hold and feed the animals. It has more than 130 koalas, alongside dingoes, kangaroos, wombats as well as various other species. There are also many colorful Australian cockatoos and parrots as well as various other birds like kookaburras, cassowaries, emus and much more.
