Princes Park is a major sports and recreation ground for locals, located in the inner Melbourne suburb of Carlton North, Victoria.  Former home ground of the Carlton Football Club, the sprawling park has a number of other sporting ovals, a children's playground and barbeques. Australian Rules Football hasn't been the only sport played at Princes Park, in fact the ground played host to a number of Rugby League games during the 1980's and 90's.
