The Queen Victoria Gardens are Melbourne's memorial to Queen Victoria, forming a peaceful triangle opposite the Victorian Arts Centre bounded by St Kilda Road, Alexandra Avenue and Linlithgow Avenue. The gardens feature trees, roses, flowering shrubs, ponds and flower beds set in manicured lawns. This gorgeous and gloriously green park with well-preserved gardens provides the perfect environment for relaxing, walking and picnicking. The gardens also host the famous Floral Clock with 7,000 flowering and bedding plants located in front of the King's memorial. The Queen Victoria Gardens are also notable for their array of sculptures.
