This is a popular heritage-listed Sydney attraction, and a reserve that interprets the story of the meeting of European and Aboriginal cultures. There's a rock here, where Captain James Cook first stepped ashore, starting the process of European settlement. He and his Endeavour crew stayed in the area for eight days.
