Description:

Located in the University of Sydney, Macleay Museum is a natural history museum housing oldest natural history collections of Australia. Entomology and ethnography being the primary theme of the museum, it also houses historically rich collections of Aboriginal, Torres Strait and Pacific islanders, along with their cultural material. Likewise, scientific instruments and historic photographs are featured in the museum with biological specimens of rare and extinct species of animals.
