One of the finest examples of the Australian remnant bushland, Oatley Park is a tree covered peninsula and a great park for a relaxed family day out. It features bushwalking, swimming, bike trails as well as play equipment for children set in a huge open grassy space amid mature eucalypts with view down to Oatley Bay. Within its boundaries are numerous micro-habitats giving protection to a variety of native plants. The lookouts over the Georges River are also worth a look.
