Pangea Guides

Volksgarten is a public park which was opened in 1820. The park is well-known for its rose gardens, various decorative fountains, the Theseus temple and interesting monuments. It contains the Elisabeth-Denkmal which is a memorial to Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria. The monuments also include the statues of the poets like Karl von Hasenauer and Franz Grillparzer. This beautifully designed and well kept park is a nice place to relax and stroll.
