Founded in 1988, Riga Film Museum is the only museum in Latvia dedicated to this art form. It collects, preserves and popularize the artifacts of Latvian film industry, in order to explain the development of Latvian audio-visual culture within the global cultural context and to educate local audiences in the world of culture.
