Located in the heart of Berlin on the northern end of Museum Island, the Bode Museum is an impressively restored building and a must for everyone interested in art, particularly medieval art. The museum's treasures include the sculpture collection including the artworks from the middle ages to the 18th century. It is now home to a wealth of art and artifacts from the Byzantine and Medieval periods, and the objects are mostly from the Mediterranean region, particularly Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt and North Africa.
