Located in the far-flung suburb of Mahlsdorf, this fascinating museum houses one of the most impressive collections of period rooms in Germany early days. The museum consists of 14 fully furnished showrooms including a mechanical music machine collection. The collections include industrially produced period furniture, the cast-iron fireplace, clocks and mirrors along with some every day items like a machine to roll cigars. The exhibits in the museum are from the period 1865 to 1920.
