Description:

With over 30 million collection items and en exhibition area of over 7,000 square meters, the Museum für Naturkunde is the largest German natural history museum. The museum houses a significant collection of zoological, paleontological and mineralogical specimens, including more than 10,000 type of specimens. It is notable for two spectacular exhibits: the tallest mounted dinosaur skeleton in the world, and a 25cm tall bird, Archaeopteryx. There's also a mini-planetarium which takes you deep into space.
