Lenbachhaus was a villa which is now transformed into an art museum. The museum features the art works of Munich painters and contemporary artists. It is well-known for housing a large collection of paintings from Blue Rider which is a group of artists from 20th century. Some of the Munich artists whose works have been exhibited here include Christoph Schwarz, Jan Polack, Wilhelm von Kobell, Eduard Schleich, Franz von Stuck and Wilhelm Leibl.
