Spaten brewery had a similar history to Löwenbräu. Founded in 1397, the brewing site moved to its present-day location in Maxvorstadt in 1854. Today the brewery's most famous beer is Franziskaner Weißbier. The brewery can be toured, with two beers and snacks inlcuded.
