Opened in 1919, the Silver Museum showcases extensive collection of items like cameos, gems, ivories, jewels, semi-precious stones and silver. Along with large collection of cameos, items from outside Italy like Rome and many part of Europe. Apparently, the most valuable are the vases of Lorenzo.  Moreover, oldest of most beautifully worked pieces are gold plates, beakers and wooden cups. The Silver Museum concentrates equally on collections and beauty of the museum’s rooms and it portrays aspects of Florentine artistic culture.
